GUIDELINESS FOR JOURNAL SPECIAL ISSUE

ACID RAIN 2005
Conference proceedings:
Water Air Soil Pollution: Focus and Applied Geochemistry

Original papers presented at Acid Rain 2005 will be considered for special issues of two major international journals: Kluwer’s Water Air Soil Pollution: Focus and Applied Geochemistry, an Elsevier publication that is the official journal of the International Association of Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry. The papers will be split between two journals in order to get sufficient space.

Up to 500 pages dealing mainly with pollution would go to a special issue of Water, Air and Soil Pollution: Focus while some of the more geochemical papers (200 pages) would be offered to Applied Geochemistry.

Original manuscripts are to be submitted at the conference (by 13 June 2005). No late submissions will be considered as we will maintain a strict publishing schedule. The guest editors will assess all manuscripts by 16 June 2005 to assemble coherent groups to be refereed in accordance with the journal policies. This will ensure issues of the very highest standard. It will be the responsibility of guest editors to stream the submitted manuscripts either to Water, Air and Soil Pollution: Focus or to Applied Geochemistry. We have contracts for 700 pages in total. This means that about 70 manuscripts will ultimately appear in the two published volumes.
